We wanted to share a little bit of our story and why this journey means so much to us.
Over the past few years, growing our family has not looked the way we once imagined. After walking through infertility and loss, we found ourselves searching for what was next. That is when God gently placed adoption on our hearts.
What started as a quiet nudge has grown into something we feel deeply called to. Not long after stepping out in faith, we were blessed in the most unexpected way. We were matched with an expectant mom who is due in July. It still feels surreal, and we are so grateful and full of hope as we prepare to welcome this baby into our family.
As we step into this journey, we are trusting God in a big way, not just emotionally but financially too. Adoption is a beautiful gift, but it also comes with significant costs. The total cost of our adoption is around $80,000, including agency fees, legal expenses, and travel for our stay after the baby is born.
So far, we have already committed over $40,000 toward this journey through savings, loans, and a lot of prayer.
We are now raising $40,000 to help bring our baby home.
Our home is full of love, support, and a strong foundation of faith, and we are ready to welcome a child into that. We do not take this calling lightly, and we are doing our best to walk it out with open hands and full trust in God’s plan.
We are asking for help, not because this is easy for us, but because we know it truly takes a village. If you feel led to give, any amount truly makes a difference. More than anything, we ask for your prayers. Prayers for the expectant mom, for this baby, and for all the steps ahead.
