Yesterday (7/12) was filled with so many smiles and laughs at my nephew's 3rd birthday party! As the day was winding down, around 7:30/8pm after everyone was gone, my nephew's mom, Shelby, and I were sitting on the floor in the kitchen enjoying cake with the littlest. Their stepdad, Jacob Bartness, went to trade his Harley for his semi truck for work today. While on his ride there, we received a horrible phone call. Jacob had encountered a bike malfunction and had wrecked on Highway 54 near LOZ. He in alive, and in stable condition! PRAISE GOD Nobody else was involved in the accident, but we are asking for donations for medical bills, his everyday payments, and the long road to recovery. Jacob and Shelby live together with 5 children under the age of 10.
ALL proceeds will go directly to Shelby to take care of Jacob and their beautiful children. ANYTHING helps, even just sharing or praying. Please keep this family in your thoughts as they navigate through this rough road to recovery.

Also if we have any bikers, my nephew LOVES motorcycles and was supposed to go to Harley Davidson today to get some birthday swag but i was unable due to the circumstances! So if you'd like to drive by the 700 block a few times and make some noise at reasonable hours, my nephew would absolutely be so happy!
