It all began on September 12, 2025, when Wade had a traumatic accident at work. A tree unexpectedly kicked back, hitting him in the face and landing on his lower body. This led to a broken femur and compartment syndrome, keeping us in the hospital for several weeks. Our life shifted drastically from the peaceful routines we knew in Holladay, Tennessee, to navigating hospital corridors, medical jargon, and endless procedures.
By May 19, 2026, Wade was scheduled for a knee replacement and removal of the rod from his femur. Unfortunately, during the surgery, his femur rebroke, complicating his recovery further. Right now, we're back in the hospital, facing another challenge as Wade needs his gallbladder removed. The doctors plan to insert a drain tube to clear the infection first. These months have been incredibly tough, both emotionally and financially.
As owners of Inman Excavating and Dirt Work, we've struggled to keep things afloat since the accident. Our work has been limited, and the mounting medical bills feel overwhelming. We’re just reaching out for a bit of support to help us get through this difficult time.
