I am Miss Flint River 2023, Peyton Christen; a student at the Kennesaw State University. My Service Initiative “Cooper's Chance” focuses on a push for availability of special needs education programs across the state and the nation, while also creating a better understanding of what exactly special needs education means and how important it is.
I am proud to be a member of the Miss America family not only because it has allowed me and hundreds of other women to fund furthering our educations, but because it continues to create opportunities for these same women to give back to our communities through philanthropy and community service. This organization has been able to achieve their mission of preparing great women for the world; preparing the world for great women as well as allowing us to become the women who can.
