Hi! Our car randomly stopped working on December 13, 2025 on our way to a work party. We are a one car family, and it was devastating as we still owed $5,000 on the car. We were hoping to pay it off, and get a 2nd car. We got that car when we became new parents, and had bad credit and a high apr. we had been paying interest basically. When our car broke down they said it would cost $6,000-$7,000 to fix. Transmission issue. We can’t afford to pay $420/month car payment and $7000 to fix a car. So, we researched and worked with some places and Honda was willing to take our car for a trade in. They paid the tow to bring it to them and all. We rolled over a small amount of negativity and now have a new car and new car payment. It’s more than we were paying before, but we are striving for more and will make it work. 
unfortunately though, the car registration is insanely high in my state because of sales tax.  Our last car the sales tax was rolled into the loan. Now we need to get that paid to register our car before the temp tag expires. We really don’t know how to make that big of a purchase in a short time, but we needed a safe reliable car for our family. $1000, $2000, or $3,000. We would struggle to pay this as we make enough for our bills and groceries. And kids sports everything is for them. I babysit as well. I’m planning to do a bake sale, I don’t want things handed to me but if you have it in your heart even $1 would help. I have a big following  so I’m hoping I can get some help for minimal from each person 🙏🏼 when I make it, which I know I will, I will give back. I have so many plans to help people. I just need help with this really bad to stop stressing so much about it. Thank you for reading. If I could pay every single person back, I would!
