Standing for Dignity: Support a Displaced Family in Gaza
Hello! My name is Katherine and I run several campaigns for families in Gaza. I will assure that all donations will be directed to this family in full. Please continue to read to learn more about Sohib and his family, and their significant needs.
My name is Sohib, and l am 23 years old. I am from Gaza.
Before October 7th, I was a university student with simple dreams: to study, work, and build a better future for my family of 10. Even before the war, life was difficult, but we lived with dignity through work, farming, and small family businesses.
After October 7th, everything changed.
Our home, land, and sources of income were destroyed.
We were displaced multiple times-from Rafah to Khan Younis, then to Al-Qarara, briefly returning during the first truce before being forced to flee again. Today, we live in Mawasi Al-Qarara, in fragile tents by the sea, exposed to heat, cold, and strong winds.
My father is 52 years old and suffers from a slipped disc in his back, living in constant pain without proper medical care.
My siblings are: Ahmed (24), Mohammed (22), Afnan (16), Jinan (15), Aboud (13), Adam (8), and Hala (3).
Anything you can gift helps the family to access basic need items. Please consider donation to help this family survive this brutal genocide.
