Harmony Shirley Rose was born early at 32 weeks via an emergency C-section. She was in the NICU the first 25 days of her life and has been back in the hospital multiple times since coming home. The doctors still are working on finding out what is going on with little Harmony and she has to see multiple specialists, one we may have to travel out of state for. Harmony was born weighing 4 lbs 9oz, and at 3.5 months old she is only 7 lbs 1oz. She is eating but is not gaining weight. They believe she may have a genetic/metabolic disorder which is not allowing her to absorb nutrients... Being in and out of the hospital has caused some difficulty in balancing for mom and dad, being able to continue working normal hours as Harmony needs them to be with her advocating for her with the Doctors and also be there for Harmony's 3 older siblings at home.
