My name is Tyral, and I’m a dedicated father, middle school teacher, and youth coach. For over a year, I’ve been in an ongoing custody battle for my son. I filed for 50/50 custody because I believe every child deserves equal love, care, and time with both parents.
Since filing, I’ve done everything asked of me and more completing parenting classes, maintaining steady employment, providing health insurance, and documenting my parenting time and involvement. Despite this, the process has dragged on with constant resistance, delays, and mounting legal expenses.
Right now, my biggest challenge is the financial burden. Between attorney fees, Guardian ad Litem costs, child support, and regular living expenses, I’m stretched to my limit. I’ve already sacrificed so much, but I refuse to give up on being the father my son deserves.
