Hey guys,
We're having a bit of an emergency with Baylor's best friend and baby, Cookie, the 3 yr-old chihuaha. If you're anything close to a dog lover like us, you understand a dog feels like a member of the family and it's a very scary time when something goes wrong.
Cookie’s health recently started deteriorating on Friday when she woke up with her eyes swollen shut. After 5 days of nonstop vet and specialist opinions and no sleep (Baylor sleeping on lobby floors), we have figured out the issue is neurological and she needs an MRI so the doctor can put together the apporpriate treatment plan. The good news is Cookie is alert and responsive. Jess has already spent $6,050 in vet bills up to this point, and that's before the upcoming necessary MRI and treatment costing an upwards of $3,000.
If you know anything about Jess' story, its been a financially trying time but she doesn't want to let Baylor down. Cookie was her gift to Baylor when her father went away.
If it is within your means to do so, any contribution would help alleviate the financial pressure during this already difficult time and help Jess get Cookie back to health and back to Baylor.
Thank you guys so much in advance.
Love,
Yasuko
