When the water rises, so does the damage — and unfortunately, the recent flooding hit the Terrell Island Trail hard.
Large sections of shoreline have washed out, portions of the trail are unsafe, and repairs are urgently needed to preserve access for everyone who enjoys this special place.
At this time, we have not identified any State funding assistance available for the project, so we are turning to the community for help.
We are currently seeking donations, sponsors, and community support to help restore and protect the trail for future generations.
Every contribution — large or small — will help with:
Shoreline stabilization
Trail rebuilding and grading
Erosion repair
Safety improvements
Long-term preservation efforts
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our trails, wetlands, wildlife, and outdoor community.
