On November 3rd, 2023 my nephew’s two year old son, Ryder, was in a drowning accident. He spent 4 ½ weeks in the pediatric intensive care unit, then moved to the neuro unit where he is still recovering at Johns Hopkins All Children Hospital. The plan is for Ryder to be transferred to a pediatric rehabilitation hospital in Baltimore Maryland for intensive therapy. Due to Ryder’s critical condition and daily needs his parents have not left his side since the day of the accident. They will both accompany Ryder to Baltimore where he will stay in the rehab hospital for weeks or possibly months of therapy.
With many, many prayers and much love, Ryder survived and is progressing but still has a long, hard road ahead of him. You can make a significant impact for the Cornthwait-Rogers family by helping them focus on Ryder’s recovery so he can return home. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in Ryder’s life as well as in the lives of his parents. Your contributions will be used towards medical expenses, the expense of traveling to and staying in Baltimore, as well as lost wages from time away from work.
With financial assistance, medical professionals, continued prayers and faith in God, we can all help with Ryder’s Recovery. Galatians 6:10 ~ "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."
With deep appreciation,
Janet Parks and family
He's making progress. Thank you for your help.

Update 2/10/24 Ryder was finally flown by air ambulance to the Pediatric Rehab in Baltimore two weeks ago. He is receiving four therapies a day. His Mom and Dad remain by his side and are very involved participating in his care to help him progress as much as possible. He is making progress. We want to again, thank all of you who have helped with your donations and ask that you continue to pray for Ryder's recovery and for his parents as struggle through this difficult time. Please share his story so others may find it in their hearts to help.

"OHANA" Means Family, be a part of Ryders Recovery Family if you're not already and if you are Thank You so much!
