2024 was a rough year. I made a huge mistake and got a DUI. It all happened on July 1, 2024. I have made some huge changes since then and do not plan to ever make that kind of mistake again.
Back in October, I lost my job and have been actively job hunting ever since with no luck. I've even applied for fast food jobs and still haven't been able to be hired.
I am so broke. All my petsitting money has been going to groceries. Jason, my roommate and best friend, has been paying all the household bills as well as loaning me the initial $750 deposit for the lawyer.
I am just so discouraged and overwhelmed. My lawyer reached out on Friday to tell me that my balance of $1050 must be paid prior to my court date of March 3, 2025 or they will withdraw from my case. I honestly just want it to be over. It's almost been a year.
Please help. Even $5 would make a difference. I so appreciate all of you and everything that has been done to keep me afloat during these past few months.
