Hi! My name is Addilyn Wilson, from Hershey, Nebraska. I am the current Miss Swedish Days Outstanding Teen. I am raising money for the Miss America Foundation as a part of the Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2021 competition. Did you know this is the 100th year of Miss America?
The Miss America Organization’s mission is to prepare great women for the world, and to prepare the world for great women. One of the ways they do that is by providing scholarships—from the national competition, all the way to our local communities.
My platform is "Mentoring Matters: Embracing Uniqueness, Potential, and Success." I am very honored to be a Youth Ambassador for The TeamMates Mentoring Program that was started right here in Nebraska. TeamMates is now serving thousands of kids in five states. I have a been a mentee for the past six years. I have raised over $2000 for our local TeamMates chapter, which will all be given back in scholarships to our high school seniors! I want to stop the stigma that only troubled kids need a mentor. We all need others who believe in us!
Will you support and share my campaign today? No donation is too small!
