Zeke's birthmother, Mini, is hand's down the most gentle, kind and selfless person I know. Over the last 2.5 years, "Bubu Mini" moved her whole family (3 children + her two parents) from the Marshall Islands to the United States in search of a better live for all. They were settling in to their new norm when COVID hit. She continued to hustle to make ends meet until recently, when she became sick herself. More than 3 weeks later and she is still not able to return to work (it is not COVID). She does not have a benefitted job - so no health insurance, and no paid-time-off to help when unexpected things pop up.
3+ weeks with no expected income is devasting for her and her family. I am setting up this funding opportunity to try and support Mini as she works to get back on her feet. All money donated will be given to support her bills that are piling up.
