Ryan was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor in 2019, just before he married his beautiful wife. What should have been one of the happiest seasons of their lives was also the beginning of a long and difficult medical journey. Over the years, Ryan attempted several medication treatments in hopes of avoiding surgery, but the side effects became unbearable and began affecting his daily life.
After multiple attempts with different medications and ongoing doctor visits, Ryan eventually made the difficult decision to monitor the tumor and wait until surgery became absolutely necessary. He never expected that moment to come as quickly as it did.
Over time, the tumor continued to grow and began causing more serious health issues. After recent scans and consultations, his neurosurgeon has confirmed that it has reached a size where surgery is no longer optional — it needs to be removed. While Ryan is thankful that there is a path forward, the reality of preparing for brain surgery has been overwhelming emotionally, physically, and financially.
