After 5 years of make-it-up-as-you-go cat rescue, on June 23, 2022 I received my 501c3 nonprofit approval from the IRS. A chance meeting for a gardening job, brought forth an offer of a space to create a shelter!
It is now 8 months later and we lack the funding needed to purchase the materials necessary to construct a shelter that can house our cats after surgery to recover. If each person reading this would donate $25, it would go a long way towards our goal. And, if you all share this fundraiser, I believe we can find enough donors to succeed.
