I’m asking for help because I’m in a financial emergency and I’m running out of options.
I’m currently behind on my mortgage and need to make my July and August payments by September 10 to avoid further action against my home. My health has made it extremely difficult for me to work consistently. I have severe carpal tunnel in my right hand with significant muscle weakness and loss of nerve supply to my thumb, and I’ve been told I need hand surgery and should not continue using that hand for work. I’m also dealing with vascular problems that make prolonged sitting and standing extremely difficult.
On top of that, my air conditioner has failed. My home warranty will not cover it, and I’ve been told that I either need major repairs or a new unit costing around $12,000. Right now, my immediate goal is simply to make my home livable again. If I can’t afford the larger repair, I need to purchase window AC units for my kitchen and living room so I can safely get through the heat.
I’m doing what work I can, but my health has made my income unpredictable, and I don't have family who can continue covering the gap. Any amount helps—$10, $25, $50, or simply sharing this fundraiser with someone who may be able to help.
My immediate priority is catching up on my mortgage and keeping my home. Anything raised beyond that will go toward getting my AC situation under control and helping me stay afloat while I deal with ongoing medical treatment and periods when I cannot work.
