Hello everyone, you all may know me as Wilted Core and for a bit I've gone on trying to save and gain money to get my own housing however times have now gone desperate and I'm running out of time.
I got word that I could potentially go homeless by the time I turn 21 (April 9th), and while this is not a 100% yes I will, there is a high chance that I might. Reason being is because at the current moment me, my mother and my cousin live in a 2 bedroom section 8 housing and they have very strict rules. As I am turning 21 soon (April 9th) and we are living in a 2 bedroom apartment it is possible I may very well be kicked onto the streets while my mother and cousin stay in this home because my mother has guardian ship over my cousin. It does not matter if I'm paying rent, does not matter if I go on the lease, I will and still could be kicked out by housing authority. While it's highly unfair, I have no say in the matter nor does my mother.
I'm trying to raise at least $1,500 to get into low income based housing while I try and look for a second job as I do not make enough to be stable, I only make close to $400 a month, sometimes I make less then $200 and I do already have personal bills to worry about like my phone which is essential for my current job.
The plan is to save up as much as I possibly can, get as much as I possibly can and immediately as soon as it is possible, go into housing.
The $500 will be used as a down payment to get a spot on the list, I am hoping this shows to them that I am trying to get housing and to not kick me till I get that housing.
The rest of the $1,000 will be used for any extra fees or towards bills, food, and getting essentials as I will have NOTHING if I do infact get into a section 8 apartment.
Please, any bit helps, even a single dollar would help me.
