Help Me Continue My Athletic Journey Through Volleyball
Hi family and friends,
As many of you know, sports have always been a big part of my life. I played soccer for many years, and being an athlete and part of a team has always been something I really enjoy.
Recently, my athletic journey changed in a way I wasn’t expecting. I was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), a heart condition that affects which competitive sports I can safely participate in.
After being evaluated and under the care of my cardiologist, I learned that I can no longer participate in certain competitive sports, including soccer. Thankfully, I have been cleared to play volleyball, and at this point, volleyball is the competitive sport I am approved to continue playing.
I have now transitioned from soccer to volleyball, and I’m really excited about this new journey. I want to continue improving, competing, and becoming the best volleyball player I can be.
I am hoping to join a volleyball club so I can continue playing and developing my skills outside of my high school season. The cost of my club volleyball season is approximately $4,600, so I am reaching out to my close family and friends who may be willing to sponsor and support me.
Any amount you are able to contribute will help my family cover the cost of my club fees and would mean a lot to me. There is no pressure to give. Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean just as much.
Because I am sharing personal information about my health, my family and I kindly ask that you please do not share or post this fundraiser publicly. We are only sharing this with close family and friends.
Having to leave soccer behind wasn’t something I expected, but I’m thankful that I still have the opportunity to be an athlete and compete through volleyball. I’m excited to work hard, grow as a player, and see where this new journey takes me.
Thank you so much for supporting me!
