Healing Through Music

Dear Friends, I am a singer/songwriter/musician. I lost my voice in 1992 due to trauma resulting from abuse. My abuser passed away in 2023. Now I am healing. Writing songs is healing me. I am getting my voice back, and I am so relieved and grateful to be getting involved in music again. I am writing songs, submitting them to Songer for production, then submitting them to the American Songwriter Contest. I am also practicing to improve my own musical skills, because I don't want to depend on AI forever. I want to sell my songs so that I can make a living. I want to create my own band so that I don't have to rely on AI to produce my songs. I want to sell my songs to real humans who will perform them. I believe my songs are good enough to become top-of-the-charts recordings. I need money to get started. I feel like I've been born again since my abuser died. He nearly killed me by prohibiting me from doing music. Now I am taking back my music, taking back my heart, taking back my voice. My abuser made fun of me because I wanted to win a Grammy Award. I am no longer in his prison. I am full of life and enthusiasm and a desire to heal others with my music--others who have also suffered abuse and trauma. I have always had compassion for others, and whenever I have had money in the past, I have given generously to others. But now I am in an awkward position of needing money, so I am reaching out to you, asking for help.
