Hi my name is Tiffany, Mariah Allan’s mother. Mariah is 28 years old and after being told at the age of 16 she could not have babies, got pregnant with a baby boy after 3 years of trying with her husband Cody. She is 22-24 weeks along. She was so excited when they made the announcement! Her biggest fear she expressed, though, was to contract Covid and not be able to protect her little one. She is a teacher in a charter school, daily giving of herself and is highly regarded among the students and her peers. Approximately 2 weeks ago, her biggest fears came true and she received a positive test. Even worse, on 12/2/21 she struggled to breathe and was admitted to ICU with Covid and pneumonia! Cody has only left her side to go home and sleep! Neither one are working and bills are stacking up. In order for Cody to remain by her side during these critical moments, I am working to do the only thing I can do…pray and help raise funds so they can be together to help Mariah heal so she can come home! Please donate to this cause so this family can set their minds at ease knowing they do not have to worry about how their bills are going to get paid. Mariah is in critical condition with no prognosis on when she will be leaving the ICU. Your prayers and generosity are appreciated!!

UPDATE: Mariah is home healing and still going in week 4 of not working! Your support and generosity is still needed to see this mama and baby through with no worries of how they are going to make ends meet! Please read our updates for more to the story!!

Thank you to everyone who is praying and whom have given to this need. Mariah and Cody still face extensive medical bills from her stay in the hospital as well as expecting a baby in 3 months and those bills. Your help to eliminate some of this massive debt is helping in the healing process. We as a family appreciate your love, prayers and generosity! May God bless you this holiday Season! Merry Christmas πŸŽ„πŸŽ Jesus is the Reason for the Season!!

FROM MARIAH:
God is so good! πŸ₯°

I went to the pulmonologist yesterday for a follow up and it went well! I received the clearance to go back to work with portable oxygen! Praise God πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ€—

I will be going back in 4 weeks for another check-up and I know I will be off this oxygen completely! How do I know? Well, I can already sit and walk around my house WITHOUT my oxygen and still keep a saturation level about 95 (it has to stay above 94 for Baby Tobias)!
The main time I need this oxygen is when I’m sleeping at night and out on the town staying at 3 Liters.

I had a come to Jesus meeting on Saturday about leaving my old self behind me (for those that know me I can be really stubborn when it comes to not getting what I want when I want it…πŸ˜‚) because what God has in store for me and my family next I can’t take my past with me. I woke up Sunday morning, went to church (man did I miss that!), and felt completely new! I accepted his plan fully without any hesitation and feel so alive:)

Thank you again for your continuous prayers, love, and support for my healing and journey!! I’m not sure I’d be where I’m at right now if it wasn’t for any of it. I love you all so much and wish you a VERY Merry Christmas! πŸŽ„♥️πŸ₯°

FROM MARIAH's NANA:
How can I not give all praise and adoration to the living God?
November 23 we are planning Thanksgiving. Our granddaughter Mariah, came over in the evening for Nurse Nana to check out her heart rate which was high and she was 20 weeks pregnant. The next day she isn’t feeling well and school was out, so she came to the house. Being the OCD nurse, I cleaned like an OCD person. She went home and then later received a positive COVID test. Thanksgiving plans slammed to a halt and I cleaned even more.

She and her husband, Cody, seemed to have very light cases. Being proactive, I contacted our primary office triage who directed us for a COVID test on the 28th. I was positive and Gary wasn’t. Our office then called the next morning and offered me the Monoclonal IV therapy. I am absolutely, so off I go to get this treatment which is known to halt the disease process. It did its work and in 3-4 days I was nearly normal with few symptoms.

The next Thursday, December 2, Mariah woke up short of breath and went to the ER. From this point know our family wasn’t with her, only Cody from 10-6 daily. She was advised of the need for high flow oxygen and the next would be bi-pap, then a ventilator which they would use until they could deliver her baby. . Mariah advised them there would be no bi-pap, ventilator or early delivery of her baby. This was God’s child and He would not allow an early delivery.

We as a family formulated a prayer group and how we felt God wanted us to pray. In short time we had people from all walks of life and across nearly every world time praying for her. We praised God for every medical person coming to care for her and that every medication they chose would be used of God and for the baby’s well being.

Each day on high flow oxygen felt like a week since we could not be there. Thankful for FaceTime. We prayed with and for her, Cody and the baby. We gave scriptures and words of encouragement. We prayed a miracle that would touch each medical person who came in.

Cody’s mom said She would leave CCU on Tuesday and she did on nasal cannula oxygen. I said she would discharge on Thursday at 7 days and she did!
GOD IS STILL PERFORMING MIRACLES.

Now for some extra God things:
Mariah and Cody have been married 7 years.
Found out they were expecting the 7th month of their 7th year.
This will be our 7th great grandchild!
She was hospitalized 7 days.
She left the hospital at 7 pm on that day.
Baby’s name, Tobias, means God is Good.

MARIAH IS HOME!! BUT THE FINANCIAL NEED STILL REMAINS. She is home on oxygen and is still unsure of when she will return to work. The hand of God touched her and she is a miracle!! Thanks to all who have prayed and given to this need! We are overwhelmed with the generosity allowing us to raise 25% of the requested amount. your prayers and sharing this need still are requested

FROM MARIAH THIS MORNING!
Good morning all and thank you so much for all the continued prayers and support! It’s hard being on the edge of going home and then being told not to. I have to keep reminding myself that I am here for a reason and only God can give me the okay to go home. These doctors are just his messengers. I will be taking this walking test every day till I get the okay to go home. I know with God’s strength I can get this done, but only when I fully trust in him. He got me out of ICU and now I have to trust he will get me out of this hospital.

I’m so grateful to know that you are all out there praying for me and my family! I don’t know how long I will be out of work, but thankfully God has blessed me with friends and family that will keep sharing this until we reach our goal. We’re not sure what our medical expenses are going to be, but I know God has and always will supplied for our needs. Thank you for sharing the posts and for all the prayers! Please keep them coming, especially today!!

Also, my roomie isn’t doing so hot today so if we could add her to our prayers I know it would make a difference!

Thanks again everyone and God bless you!

From my son-in-law Cody

Just another update on Mariah, we were hoping she would be released today but unfortunately they want to keep holding her to ensure that Mariah and Baby Tobias are getting plenty of oxygen, as the days are going on more and more costs are accumulating, we appreciate all the support so far, but if you can please just continue to pray for us and share this with as many people ask you can.  It would be greatly appreciated because Mariah has now been out of work for 3 weeks and I (Cody) 2 1/2 weeks. That’s a huge hit to our income,  and with  daily costs adding up from being in the hospital a week, so far they aren’t guaranteeing a release day yet . All we can do is continue to pray for her oxygen levels to stay strong and that they see she is ready to come home ! Thank you again for all the support !

God is so good! Mariah made it outside of icu! I just got in to see her and she is doing wonderful!! We still need to continue to raise some money due to not knowing when she'll get clearance to go back to work and her medical bills are stacking up. Your generosity continues to amaze me. Your prayers have been fruitful please continue to pray, share this fundraiser, and give as you can. May God continue to bless each and everyone of you!!
