My name is Marcela. I'm 12 years old, and I live in California. I am a VOENA performer. VOENA has been honored with an invitation to perform with a choir of international singers, featuring the works of the Grammy award winning composer and conductor Eric Whitacre at the world-renowned concert venue, Carnegie Hall, in New York City on November 24-30, 2022. This includes a residency program to further build my knowledge of music.
I have been selected as one of the performers for this event, but I need your help to get there! Music has been a great help during these last three years. I have been learning and enjoying music, and I am excited to have this great opportunity. I babysit and do whatever I can to help my parents come up with the money for my music education.
