Operation: Heal Our Heroes (HOH) has launched a nationwide awareness campaign to address mental health issues affecting veterans that contribute to the staggering rate of 20 suicides each day. Efforts generate funds, which are directed toward local programs that have demonstrated high success in providing no-cost support services to veterans that facilitate the transition process out of the military.
HOH was founded after former Army CPT Francis 'Franky' Kim succumbed to his 2-year battle with PTSD. CPT Everett Weston, Executive Director, served with Franky and co-founded the organization alongside Franky’s roommate, Patrick Bolchoz, in response to his death. Since then, HOH has hosted a myriad of events in cities across the country and directed over $150,000 to fund programs that provide best-in-class support to suffering veterans.
