Hey everyone! Over the past 6 months or so I have spent much of my spare time working away on my music. Everything from writing, recording and editing, trips to LA to work with my producer, social media promotion, designing merchandise and more. My wife Natalie and I firmly believe this is the path God has for our family. If we didn't, I wouldn't be writing this. It has been a long process and I have definitely wanted to "throw in the towel" more than once. I have been writing and recording music since I was 17 years old. I will be 30 this year! It is my passion and I believe it is a big part of the way I can be a voice to those lost and in need of hope in Jesus. My last song "Above The Water" is all about trying to navigate this life in your our own strength. It simply doesn't work. I have tried! So, it's easy to sing, it's a whole different thing to live it. We don't walk by what we can see in front of us, but by faith in our God who is so far above our circumstances.
WHERE THE PROJECT IS AT -
At this point in time I have completed three songs. The third one actually releases this Friday, June 23rd! It has been incredible to already see the ways God has used the music to encourage people. Having completed three songs I am now halfway done with my EP (Extended Play/ "Mini Album"). The goal is to release a full EP with six songs on it. Each song costs $3,000.00 to complete. I know, it's a lot! This doesn't include promotion costs to get the word out to people about the music or the cost to have CD's made, create music videos, upload to the online streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify etc. At this point Natalie and I have nearly exhausted the resources we have but there is still more to do. I am picking up extra work when I can and I have some guitars and equipment for sale as well. We are trying to be creative in an effort to raise the rest of the funds needed to complete this project. I certainly don't love asking for help but I know that God has surrounded me with a lot of people who have encouraged me and told me they believe in this project. So, I am asking for your help.
