A letter from Coach Niko Medved

Dear Supporters and Donors,

On behalf of the entire CSU Men’s basketball program, I would like to start by saying THANK YOU for all of your support. The past few years at Moby Arena have been nothing short of incredible. The tremendous energy and passion from our community, the sold-out games at Moby Arena, and the unwavering support that our players and coaching staff receive from you make this place special. We are all proud to be a part of this community and proud to be CSU Rams!

As we are approaching postseason play and battling for an NCAA Tournament bid, I wanted to not only share our program’s appreciation for what you do for us, but also share how we can continue to take this program to new heights. With the changing landscape within collegiate athletics, we want to stay on the cutting edge of player recruiting and retention. We pride ourselves on recruiting high character kids who excel both on and off the court. As many of you who have had interactions with our players know, they are special kids who give everything to our program and to the CSU community.

NIL is a very important component to maintain the success of our program while continuing to get to where we strive to be consistently – on top of the Mountain West and in the NCAA Tournament year-to-year. The Green & Gold Guard is a great resource that directly benefits our men’s basketball players here at CSU. Through the Green & Gold Guard, our players have had the opportunity to work with nonprofits like the Boys and Girls Club which has been a rewarding experience for all.

I am asking all Rams Basketball supporters to get on board with the Green & Gold Guard and support these great young men. NIL support is critical for our program and your support impacts our student-athletes in numerous ways.
