My husband, Michael, recently suffered a heart attack and needed two stents. As he recovers, he is expected to be out of work through the end of the year.
We are grateful he is here with us, and our priority is giving him the time he needs to heal. Along with the worry about his health, we are facing the financial strain of being without his regular income while still caring for our family.
I’m starting this fundraiser to help cover our everyday essentials during his recovery: housing and utility bills, groceries, and gas for medical appointments and necessary family travel. The money raised will help bridge the gap until Michael is able to return to work.
It isn’t easy to ask for help, but support during this time would give our family some breathing room and allow Michael to focus on his recovery.
If you are able to contribute, we would be deeply grateful. If donating isn’t possible, sharing this fundraiser is another meaningful way to help.
Our family’s essential expenses total approximately $6,000 per month, and Michael is expected to be out of work for roughly three months. We’ve set a goal of $18,000 to help cover housing, utilities, groceries, gas for medical appointments and everyday necessities, along with fundraising processing fees.
This support would help keep our household steady while Michael takes the time he needs to recover. Every contribution, whatever the amount, will help with these expenses, and we are grateful to anyone who can donate or share our fundraiser.
Thank you for your kindness, encouragement, and support as we take this one day at a time.
With gratitude,
Michael, Tori, Andrew and Olivia
