Danny Blevins, my husband of 22 plus years has had a history of medical issues. At the age of 21 he lost his colon with the end result a ileostomy. At the age of 55 he had to have surgery to revise his ileostomy/stoma site with hernia repairs. Now, a week ago today, he was rushed to surgery for another ileostomy surgery due to hernias strangulation his bowels causing bowel obstructions. My husband pulled through sutgery even though he was skeptical. He came to CCU on a ventilator, Something Danny has never experienced before. Dannys time spent in the unit on the ventilator was very traumatic for him. He was extibated on his 5th day. Danny has since moved to the medical floor to recover from the extensive surgery he had. He will then be admitted to the rehabilitation part of the hospital for PT rehab.
We are asking and praying for financial help. Any donation will be helpful. Danny has medicare/on disability. He does not have a secondary insurance with his Medicare.
