We are small village in Ohio with 1 community park that runs on donations, small community fundraising and volunteers.
This park is where the parents and kids in our community come to safely make lifelong memories. The park is also home to our local high school baseball and softball diamonds which include an outdoor restroom facility.
This spring during heavy rainfall the creek rose with high waters and debris. A walking bridge connecting part of a local neighborhood to the park was damaged by a fallen tree rushing downstream.
Due to the costs of general maintenance our community club who is responsible for maintaining the park barely have leftover funding for necessary upgrades let alone a bridge replacement.
We humbly ask for your generosity so the walking bridge can be replaced or repaired. If we are fortunate in raising more funding than necessary for the bridge replacement, we will take the additional funds and upgrade our playground equipment, diamonds, and courts.
Whether its in the shelter house, on the ball diamond, swings, playground, along the creek bank, basketball or pickleball court its a safe place where our youth grow up and our community members come together.
Sincerely
