Hi everyone,
I'm writing to you today with a heartfelt plea for support. I'm in the final stages of adopting my grandson Zaiden. He is a year and a half and this last stage of this long 6 month process requires me to head to Iowa for a couple days to have in person visits with him.
Zaiden has been in a foster home since birth(his mother's story is her story to tell). I have passed the background check and the grueling invasive hours of a home study where they Crack your life open. This is something I have spent a great deal of time mentally and physically preparing for. He needs to be with family not foster homes or adopted out to strangers and I've stepped up to take on that role with the support of friends and family.
I'm trying to raise $500 to help with fuel for this 12 hour drive and lodging for a couple days. I'm figuring out all the logistics. Any amount you can donate, big or small, will make a real difference. It will get me closer to have this little guy in my home.
