Dear Family and Friends
In these challenging times, many of you have kindly asked how you can lend a helping hand. We reach out now with a heartfelt request that centers on our newest family member, our beautiful and first grandchild, MaNoah. He was born weighing only 2 pounds and 10 ounces, MaNoah is a true warrior, bravely fighting a battle that no child should face.
MaNoah was born with a rare and complex heart defect requiring a series of surgeries, the first of which can only begin once he reaches 5 pounds. Our little hero currently weighs 3.7 pounds, and with the excellent care at Tennova, UT Medical Center, and now Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN, he’s heading in the right direction. However, if these surgeries do not succeed, a heart transplant may become necessary.
Our beloved daughter Siah and her husband, Mazz, face overwhelming medical expenses that insurance won't fully cover. Additionally, to ensure MaNoah receives the best possible care, they need to relocate to Nashville for at least six months. Their financial strains are beyond their reach, further burdened by the cost of relocation that Mazz's job cannot currently support.
Despite their loving hearts and tireless spirit, the path ahead is daunting for this new family. Siah and Mazz, married less than a year, have not yet found their financial footing, made all the more difficult by their whirlwind journey through the pregnancy, birth and new parenthood. We've supported them in every way we can, but the demands exceed our reach as it is now set for the long term. We aren’t sure of the total expenses, circumstances and demands that lie ahead but we know we need to start somewhere. This is why we are asking for your compassion and support. Every donation, irrespective of size, matters profoundly. Your generosity will help ease their financial burdens, allowing them to focus on what truly matters – MaNoah's health and well-being.
