Hi! My name is Logan, and I'm writing to help raise money to help my parents, Jason and Mariah Melton, build a home for my gorgeous niece Athena. Due to unfortunate circumstances, my parents have full guardianship of my niece Athena. Currently, they are living in a converted school bus, but with having their granddaughter, their plans of building a smaller house got changed. They are VERY hard-working, loving, kind-hearted people and are always first in line to help anyone in need. My parents are also far too proud to ask for help when they need it, and I would love to be able to show them that the world is willing to help them back, mainly with the extra costs associated with having to build. The extra room they now need for Athena will add a minimum of 10-15 thousand dollars, including cement, carpeting, lumber, electrical, etc...Athena is about to turn three years old and is incredibly intelligent; she loves running around and playing! While the bus life is great and unique, it doesn't provide Athena much room to play on rainy or cold days, which are prevalent in Wisconsin. My parents have had custody of Athena for most of her life and after a somewhat lengthy battle, they were granted full guardianship. Athena needs a forever home to grow up in and call her own.
