Day 33
Management has not come to the bargaining table.
Each day management refuses to meet, nurses are forced to choose between their paycheck and their principles. The pressure is intentional: accept a weaker contract or endure financial hardship.
Remaining on the line is not easy — and principles should not be a privilege reserved for those who can afford to wait. This fund exists to support 4400+ nurses who cannot hold out much longer. We have shown resilience and solidarity, helping one another through per diem work, gig jobs, Medicaid enrollment, unemployment benefits, and cashing out retirement savings.
Our strike is organized by units, and strike captains will help distribute emergency aid to nurses in immediate need. This is day 33 of the strike.
This strike can be over soon because safe staffing and job protection are the only items in dispute. Please support us if you can.
