Homeless W/ Special Needs Kid Due To Blindness

Hello! I’m Michele. A single disabled parent to a special needs kid in desperate need of emergency help. After working very hard my entire life, in 2024 I lost my vision due to sudden retina detachments and various tears in both eyes. I haven’t been able to work since 6/2024 and as most know the process and mandatory wait time for disability is very difficult and long. We do not have support and lost our apartment as well as our things. Over the course of about 2 years I’ve had 7 wire surgeries and am unable to provide my son with the care and basic needs for him to thrive. We need help getting a place to live and basic necessities such as clothing, transportation - even groceries and toiletries. To make matters worse I lost my mom to suicide right before I lost my eyesight and I’m just not ok. Trying to get Medicaid and public assistance seems impossible. Especially without assistance. Please consider help my or just praying for us. Thank you so very much. This is too much for one person to handled.
