I got scammed on a used car purchase. The person told me that it would pass smog, it does not. I have tried reaching out to the person to get my money back with no luck.
So, what I want to do is go ahead and get the car repaired. I wish I could afford it myself, however, as long as the person I do caregiving for (a US Navy Vet) is in nursing care facility, I do not get paid.
Part of the responsibilities is house upkeep and taking care of her dogs. Which I am doing without income.
Hopefully, I will start getting paid again. I spoke with the case worker for my client/patient. She is working on the case.
However, in the meantime, I have more bills to pay, so I updated the amount needed to get caught up.
I haven't received a paycheck since the end of March. Hopefully, I can start getting pay again real soon.
I just need to get the car fixed in the meantime. I may have to get a new catalytic converter. I know it has a fuel leak and a steering linkage issue.
