As many of you know about 1.5 years ago I completed the requirements to get my license back with restrictions after 6 years of not driving. Through that time I worked hard to support myself getting my own home, career, and continued recovery. The week after I got my license I nearly died from complications of a disease I have been fighting for years.
After all these years I’ve continued to fight for my life, for my job, and for my recovery and am celebrating 6 years sober on May 22nd 2025. I am creating this page because I need help once again. I should have had this breathalyzer device removed in November but with my operation, and costs of bills and trying to stay afloat with rent I’ve had to keep paying on this nearly 300$ every 2 months.
I practice self care that’s the only $ I spend to try to do something good for my mental as I navigate preparing for the final 2 operations I need to get better. I need help. I have to go through the process all over again. The fees are so expensive that I can only keep the current device on my car I can’t afford to get it taken off. Any amount helps. I feel like I have so much but this is the one thing from my past that I’m still struggling with.
