Don't let the picture fool you. Before you judge based on the picture, I'll break it down for you.
This is my brother Jesus's car. He was given it as a promise from our dad for beating childhood cancer. This car while in what appears to be great shape, is flawed. Flawed in the fact it has no brakes. Flawed in the fact not just one, but two mechanics failed to do the work promised originally to get the car in the proper state it should've been given to us.
This car was a Make-A-Wish gift for my brother. My father, my mother, my oldest brother and myself worked hard to get what was once a rust bucket, to a nice running car. Now it doesn't even run. Thanks to the false promises of two mechanics, the first who failed to make the car safe and took Make-A-Wish for their money, and the second mechanic who just left the car in a project stage again and just took his tools and left, we can not fulfill the promise my father made to my brother.
While the car, a 1941 Chevrolet Master DeLuxe Coupe is nice in appearance, the car doesn't run. We are not a rich family. We struggle. We hurt. We try the hardest we can to just try to get this car done for my brother, and yet years have gone by and we can't even get this car going.
I'm not asking you to help me get a project of mine going. I'm not asking you to give me money for nothing. But It's gotten to a point where I see my father and mother's hurt in their eyes and I don't know where else to turn.
Please, I'm not asking you for more than some help to just, make my brothers wish finally come true. It's been too long to finish this project and we just want to finish what was started so many years ago.
Thank you for your time reading this, and thank you to those who help us by either donating or sharing. God bless you all.
