A tragedy struck our whole family last night, one that shook our family. Our sweet boy Silas Alan-Scot passed away.

Our hearts are shattered. Last night, July 25, 2025, we lost our sweet Silas in a tragic drowning accident at Long Lake Park. He was just a little boy—full of energy, full of life, and full of love. Silas was always on the move, always laughing, always getting dirty playing outside. He adored his big sister Averlyn and shared so much love with both his mom and his stepmom, Alanis. He had this incredible way of making every moment brighter—whether it was with a goofy smile, a muddy hug, or the sound of his little feet running through the yard. We were all together at the lake, just enjoying the day as a family, when in an instant everything changed. Silas fell off his float and took in too much water. Emergency crews did everything they could to save him, but they couldn’t bring him back. We’re still trying to process this unbearable loss. Silas was our sunshine, and now our world feels so dark without him. We’re reaching out to ask for help as we try to lay him to rest with the love and care he deserves. Anything you can give—whether it’s support, prayers, or help with arrangements—means more than we can ever say. Thank you for holding our family close during the hardest moment of our lives.
