What started as a quiet moment swinging on the front yard swing that had been hanging for over 10 years, turned into a freak nightmare.

In an instant, screams for help where called out across the neighborhood trying to save Jade, all while she was trying to frantically save June.

Jade suffered a severe head injury splitting her head from front hairline to the nape hairline that required 33 staples as well as multiple broken ribs. By a complete miracle, June only suffered a black eye and scrapes across her face. A mother’s strength is unmatched in any situation and Jade proved just that!

By the grace of God, both girls survived and are incredibly strong, but the physical and emotional healing ahead will be a long journey. We are asking for prayers and any support you can give to help with medical expenses, recovery needs, and funds for living expenses while Jade is out of commission and allowing us to focus on helping these brave girls heal. They may be bruised, but they are not beaten. 💛

From Jade : Update from doc visit #2: Arm/shoulder is all good, just bruised.

Blood in my eye is normal considering my injury, cat scan and X-rays all came back good. How miraculous that I walked away from this with no head trauma aside from some staples.. God is so good. ✝️🙏🏼

Imagine how it looks without the filter😮‍💨🫣 Gonna be worse the next few days but seriously how (un)lucky am I to be the one in a million person to get hit by a tree branch.. 🤦🏻‍♀️

From Jade : I’m so beyond thankful for my people. ❤️ I don’t know why when things happen, they have to be so traumatic. The hardest part was physically not being able to help my baby. I’m so thankful my mom was there, and that Uncle Aeron kept Deuce inside so he didn’t have to witness any of it. 🙌🏼

I’m still in shock that this happened, but I’m praising God that I’m alive—and that it hit me instead of my baby. Tomorrow is probably going to hurt something awful, but tonight I’m HOME, surrounded by the people I love. There’s no greater feeling after a day like today. Holding my babies a little tighter tonight. 🙏🏼 Thank y’all so much for checking on me and for all the prayers. Please keep them coming. ❤️
