Nurse Samah’s Family in Gaza
Hello everyone, Samah here.
I am a 23-year-old nurse who arrived in Sardinia from Gaza on 12/05/2026 to begin an MA scholarship programme at the University of Sassari in Sardinia, Italy.
All of my family members are still in Gaza, and this campaign is to support them. It is their only source of income.
Before I list my family members, I wish to mention my grandmother Fathyah, who died just a week ago on 30/08/2026. We are devastated by her loss, and being so far away from my family is heartbreaking.
I consider every donation made a mark of respect to my grandmother’s memory—a woman who always put her family’s welfare first.

My mother: Elham (43 years old)
My aunts: Lamiaa (33 years old) & Tahani (30 years old)
My sisters: Weaam (21 years old), Lamis (16 years old) & Jana (12 years old)
Weaam is currently applying for scholarships abroad, Lamis is starting her final year in high school, and my youngest sister Jana has yet to resume her education.
