Hi! My name is Nicole Linder and I am raising money for the Miss America Foundation. 

The Miss America Organization's mission is to "prepare great women for the world, and to prepare the world for great women." One of the ways we do this is by providing scholarship assistance - from the national competition, all the way to our local communities. The Miss America Organization is one of the nation's largest providers of scholarship assistance to young women

My family and close friends knew I struggled with anxiety and depression growing up. To others outside my family and close friends, it was a secret. I thought that what I was struggling with was something that should not be talked about, and I should just struggle with the same anxiety everyone else was dealing with. I later learned that there is a massive difference between everyday anxiety and anxiety disorders and depression. Anxiety disorders and depression are not talked about enough. However, today, I am empowered and capable to speak on what I am passionate about -- something that needs more attention and is overlooked far too often:  Anxiety disorders and Depression. My goal is to bring more awareness about anxiety disorders and depression nationwide. I use my voice and platform to bring awareness of anxiety disorders and depression so that people understand it better, and no one has to suffer alone.
