🚨 COLOMBIA NEEDS US NOW. 🇨🇴 Third Wave Volunteers are on the ground in our 970th disaster Mission.
August 16 Th update - third Wave have been working deep in very remote areas of Colombia helping the earthquake victims - Colombian citizens have stepped up to help better than any other Disasters that I’ve been in 25 years - major need is construction materials for housing.
We are also Solar lighting up the dark nights as no electricity in many areas.
We buy the lights for $10 each if you would like to Donate towards them - our volunteers are all medical so along with the solar lights they get medical check ups as well: ❤️🙏
More soon when we are out of the mountains.
Love Dr. Alison - Founder - Third Wave volunteers.
A devastating 7.4-magnitude earthquake has struck Colombia, leaving communities destroyed, families displaced, and people still waiting to be found. While rescue teams and volunteers work against the clock, Third Wave Volunteers is mobilizing support to get help and critical supplies into the hands of those on the ground.
We are raising funds to provide construction and rescue gloves, protective goggles, first-aid and essential medical supplies, solar lights, batteries, and other urgently needed resources to help communities search, rescue, protect, and survive.
💛 Your donation can become a pair of hands protecting a rescuer, a light in the darkness, medicine for an injured person, or a tool that helps bring someone home.
This is not the time to watch from a distance. This is the time to act.
🇨🇴 Donate. Share. Help us reach Colombia when Colombia needs us most.
Third Wave Volunteers — responding with action, compassion, and hope.
Third Wave Volunteers' disaster response teams work on short- and long-term missions with the motto of LOVE IN ACTION.
When disaster strikes, the strength of a response is measured by who is already standing beside the community. For the past six years, Third Wave Volunteers has been working alongside the Indigenous Wayuu people across La Guajira in Colombia, building trusted relationships that extend far beyond emergency relief. In the wake of the devastating earthquake in Colombia, we are immediately expanding our existing mission with medical care, safe drinking water, emergency food, solar lights, shelter supplies, and other critical essentials to earthquake-hit areas.
We are a trusted 25-year Florida non-profit 501 (c) (3) that takes no salaries - all donations are tax-deductible and go to help the people on the ground.
Love Dr. Alison Thompson - Founder- Third Wave Volunteers.
