My name is William Cross, I have Spinocerebellar Ataxia. An incurable, neurodegenerative brain disease. Classified as super rare, there are only about 15-20,000 of us in the U.S. At 13 years in, I am fully symptomatic with symptoms ranging from loss of basic motor functions, slurred speech, loss of balance, double vision with vertigo, (nystagmus), trouble walking, swallowing, tremors and more. Other related brain diseases such as Parkinsons, Alzheimers, A.L.S, M.S, Huntingtons and others affect over 10 million people currently in the U.S. None of these devastating diseases have a cure. I am starting an independent, grassroots, city by city, awareness and fundraising campaign for all neurodegenerative brain diseases. As a self sustaining model, our monthly expenditures will be covered by the ongoing donations from each city, with the remainder going to front line, cutting edge research labs, bypassing the standard corporate administrative fees, hidden institutional costs, and red tape, getting the funds into the hands of researchers in real time. Since we are independent, complete transparency is our foundation. A website will be created to provide updates, video footage, and a quarterly financial statement detailing money raised, expenditures, funds donated and to whom.
A CURE FOR ONE IS A BREAKTHROUGH FOR ALL!
But I cannot do this without the gear. This initial $165,000 campaigning will be used exclusively to secure a used, reliable R.V, which will be the command center, rolling billboard and house us out on the road. Graphics, technical equipment, insurance, permits, business filings website and a 2 month cushion.
BY FUNDING THE WHEELS TODAY, YOU ARE LAUNCHING THE ENGINE THAT HELPS FIND A CURE FOR TOMORROW!
My deep appreciation and gratitude for helping me, help others is without boundaries.
