Mom has been struggling with multiple health issues directly related to a brain tumor. She did have surgery to remove it, but upon completing, the doctor’s realized that they were unable to remove the entire thing due to the placement. Due to the tumor’s placement, my mom has also not been able to speak at all, eat, walk, or perform many daily functions on her own. She is only 58 years old. Recently, she has had many mood swings and changes in appetite, so the doctors ran several tests and have confirmed that the remaining part of the tumor has started to grow bigger. This time, surgery is unable to be performed and there are talks of hospice care coming into her assisted living to make sure things go smoothly.
The funds raised here will go directly to her medical expenses for part of the assisted living and hospice stepping in. I am starting out with a fairly low goal because any bit helps.
