Hello Friends,
Life continues to be very difficult for the Al-Saidi family, with Khaled remaining trapped in Gaza and Anwar and the children in Egypt. Recently Anwar's phone stopped working, adding to her hardships.

In between internet outages in Gaza, Khaled was able to send me the below update to share with you all:
We are now on the cusp of a ceasefire and the opening of the crossings—and this could be the long-awaited moment.
We begin with deep gratitude to everyone who has stood with us. There are those who have generously donated silently, away from the spotlight—and they are never far from our thoughts and prayers.
Your generosity has brought us closer to securing a home for my children and covering their basic needs. But I still need to secure the necessary means of leaving my homeland to reach them—I haven't held them in my arms for over a year and a half.
Is there anyone who still listens? Who feels?
Please... don't turn a blind eye to us. We are being crushed by the weight of reality.
I am a father... I have seen the unbearable.
I have seen hunger, death, fear, and loss.
I have been separated from my children... I don't know how they sleep, if they eat, or if they cry alone.
My house burned down... my livelihood was lost... and all I have left is hope.
We don't ask for the impossible... only for our voices to be heard, for them to touch your hearts.
Every heart that feels... is a life saved.

We are so grateful for all who have donated so far, and please consider donating again if you are able to. Thank you again for your support of our campaign and your generosity.
