Next year Isabel has the opportunity to go to Washington DC and perform in the Veterans Day Parade with the ACHS Band.On the way to DC the band will stop in Nashville,TN and check out the National Museum of African American Music.After Nashville they will continue on to DC.While in DC they will visit Arlington National Cemetery,the Tomb of the unknown soldier,Ford's Theatre,the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History,the National Gallery of Art,and an illuminated night tour of DC including the Jefferson Memorial and the White House.The next day they will perform in the 2026 Veteran's Day Parade.After the parade they will go on a guided tour of the WWII Memorial,then visit the National Air and Space Museum,visit the National Archives,then they will have a guided tour of the Lincoln Memorial,Korean War Memorial and the Dr Martin Luther King Jr Memorial.The next day after that they will wrap up DC with a Red Coat tour and a group photo on the Capitol Steps.Then they will head to Indianapolis, Indiana where the next day they will visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum with a track your, and after all that they will head back home.This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Izzy but with all this there's a nice price tag that we have to come up with and would really appreciate the help.I am wanting to go as a chaperone and have to pay my own way to make that possible.Now we will be doing fundraisers to help us pay for it but the more that we can go ahead and pay the better.All help is appreciated.The amount that we want to raise is not a final price it's a prediction based on other factors that we will have to pay.Thank you for all help.
