Hi everyone! My name is Wesley Bird, and I am currently an undergraduate music major at Jacksonville State University studying percussion. Music has been one of the most important parts of my life, and I have recently been given the incredible opportunity to march with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps this summer. Drum Corps International is known for its extremely high level of performance and dedication, and being part of this group would help me grow as a performer and a person. As a music major, experiences like this are truly invaluable.
Marching drum corps has been a dream of mine for many years, and it is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Unfortunately, the cost of participating is significant, and I am working to raise funds to help cover the tuition.
