Hi I am asking on the kindness of others to help me save my 17 year old Brandon. My son was diagnosed at 4 with anaplastic large cell Lymphoma. After 6 years and 2 rounds of chemotherapy Brandon finally became cancer free. Shortly after within the same year my mother died on his birthday from a massive heart attack. It was really hard on all of us. My mother played the roll as a second parent helping me raise my boys. Things have never been the same. Brandon never really complained about anything he kind of just went with the flow of things. We went to therapist and he seemed fine. At 14 his emotions started going crazy. It was like he had bottled in everything and it all came out at one time and it was completely overwhelming for him. This is when he made his first suicide attempt. It has been a such a battle. He is now 17 and currently in the hospital after a 3rd suicide attempt. He cut into a main artery and lost a lot of blood and his emotional state right now is not good. I have applied for social security for him and been denied twice. I am trying to do everything I can to help save him and get him the right treatment to learn the skills to deal with his emotions. learn the skills to deal with his emotions. We have tried multiple therapist tons of different medications. Where we are at now is the doctors think the best solution and therapy that would benefit him would be for him to go to a wilderness program where they provide therapy for people like him that have severe depression, trauma and anxiety disorders. The problem is these programs are not cheap at all and his insurance doesn't cover it. They can cost up to $25,000. I finally found a program that works on a sliding scale and they would be willing to take him but it still would cost $4,600. I would do anything to save my son and I don't want to lose him. I need him to get the help he needs so desperately. Please if you are able to help donate we would forever be greatful and if you are not able to help please share his story and pray I can get him the help he needs. Thank you for you support at this difficult time...
