Here is my story, due to OpSec I cannot disclose my name. I am raising funds because I’ve made the decision to go to Ukraine to provide humanitarian aid, where I will be supporting efforts in an active and challenging environment. This is not a decision I’ve taken lightly—it’s something I feel strongly called to do.
The reality on the ground is that many volunteers are responsible for supplying a large portion of their own gear. These funds will go directly toward essential equipment such as protective gear, communications equipment, and life-saving medical supplies—not just for me, but for the people and communities I’ll be helping.
A portion of the funds will also help cover travel expenses, including my flight to the region and a hostel for my first three days while I coordinate and connect with the team I’ll be working alongside.
Every contribution directly impacts our ability to help those in need. It helps ensure that we are properly equipped and better prepared to operate safely and effectively in a very real and demanding environment.
