As many know I have been on a health and wellness journey for about a year and a half with the goal of weight loss surgery. I am currently down 85 lbs from where I started. I have been enrolled in a bariatric program for this past year locally. I have completed all the classes, counseling, nutrition, and mental health requirements and I’m 7 lbs away from meeting the pre requirements and then surgery can be scheduled.
Recently I have experienced some hardship due to unforeseen circumstances and challenges not due to my own choices- The money I had saved for my surgery costs is gone for the second time and I’m left feeling extremely defeated but refusing to give up.
I am pretty prideful and I never thought I would put something like this out there for the world to see. I’m so close to the finish line that I am asking for help towards my goal .
I am so determined to change to be healthy for Avery and I in our new chapter of life. She needs a healthy mama now more than ever. My tribe is unbelievable and even though I’m struggling with putting this out there I know dreams can come true.
