We are 17-year-old twins from Massachusetts, and we’ve been watching the heartbreaking flooding in Texas-Families, losing everything, communities, underwater, and kids, our age suddenly without a home.
The devastation of flooding hit us personally as our mom and her family lost everything they owned, in fact their entire home was covered with water, during hurricane Agnes in 1972, when she was 7 years old.
We knew we couldn’t just sit back and do nothing. That’s why we’re starting this fundraiser 100% of what we raise will go to organizations helping real people on the ground to get food, shelter, supplies, and support to those who need it most. Maybe something as small as a new toy for a young child.
We are just two teenagers who believe that even a small act of kindness can ripple out and make a big difference.
